I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who supported "Seafood Fiesta" (meal consisting of fish/lobster/festival/bammy) on Friday, April 4 and 11, 2014. One hundred and ten thousand dollars ($110,000.00) representing proceeds from the Fiesta was used to offset Loan secured to cover Insurance expenses. We are still awaiting response(s) from those who pledged; there is still an outstanding balance. Your cheques should be made payable to St. Jago Past Students' Association and either left at Mello Moods, 21 Holborn Road, Shop #2, New Kingston or call 929-4242/926-8053/863-8118 so that arrangements can be made for pick-up. "BREAKFAST AT RAVENSWORTH"
Many thanks to the Past Students and Friends of St. Jago whose contributions helped to provide Breakfast for a number of Needy Students since the beginning of January through mid-April. Sixty (60) students (numbers on the increase) are presently being fed two days each week: Tuesdays and Fridays. Sincere gratitude and appreciation to Clients of Mello Moods and Friends of Jago who supported "Seafood Fiesta" held on Friday, April 4 and 11, 2014, proceeds from which will go towards this Programme. Your contributions totalling Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000) will be used to continue providing breakfast for these specially selected students. Breakfast at Ravensworth commences on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. It would not have been the success it has been without your usual kind support - thanks again for putting a smile on a child's face - blesssings!
